FSU's Equal Opportunity Statement can be viewed at: The FSU College of Medicine (COM) Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine is seeking a highly skilled professor with proven research skills, teaching skills and a track record as a PI. This person will conduct research supported through competitive grant seeking, and collaborate with colleagues also engaged in HIV and related research. Of particular interest is behavior change for persons living with HIV that increase adherence to medication. Also behavioral studies and interventions to reduce risks associated with STI transmission.

This position will have opportunities to provide oversight and teaching at the regional campus in Sarasota. Additionally, there is a new and rapidly growing undergraduate COM-supported major (Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences), which will offer opportunities for new course development in areas of personal interest.Qualifications Doctorate degree (PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, or a public health field.Preferred Strong grounding in clinical research and motivational interviewing with 10 years or more experience in HIV research and adherence as a principle investigator.Contact Info Georgia Arnold, Program Manager
