Hofstra University is a dynamic community of more than 11,000 students from around the world who are dedicated to civic engagement, academic excellence and becoming leaders in their communities and their careers.Description:This part-time position will be responsible for ID card production/issuance/replacement, passport photo production, customer service, processing cash/check transactions, basic preventative maintenance on card reader equipment, and data entry and other functions in the AutoTASK work order system. This position would also be responsible for administrative tasks associated with Hofstra ID cards and the Student Connections and Branding Program. This position will assist in managing the front desk customer service operation and perform needed clerical and administrative functions utilizing MS Word, Excel and Access.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 1:00pm (shifts may vary)Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required. Knowledge of a university environment, along with knowledge on Banner, OneCard and work order processing software a plus. Candidate will be a proactive self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced collaborative environment. Candidate wil possess excellent oral communications skills. Candidate will possess strong interpersonal, customer service, cashiering, organizational, and administrative skills. Candidate will demonstrate cultural competence and the ability to work with students from diverse populations. Candidate will be collaborative, organized, and detail oriented. Some supervisory skills preferred.
