The person in this position will apply knowledge of clinical research to the study population and will be involved in all aspects of clinical research including study participant screening, recruitment, informed consent, conducting study procedures, data collection and maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Pre-screening/screening/recruitment/enrollment of study participants into clinical trial. This will include evaluating and interviewing potential participants and reviewing medical history to determine if eligibility requirements are met.
  • Completing the participant informed consent process, including instructing study participants on research protocol procedures.
  • Scheduling, coordinating and conducting study visits and study procedures. This will include performing medical testing per the protocol such as drawing blood, collecting vital signs and EKGs; processing and packaging of laboratory samples for shipment; assessing participants during clinic visits to determine if participant is experiencing side effects or other problems; gathering study data; data entry.
  • Creating source documents and maintaining study documentation for each study participant including documenting medical data in the medical record and study databases. Also includes creating and maintaining study supply inventory.
  • Serve as liaison and assist with all communication between participants, investigators, study team, regulatory personnel, sponsors, monitors, and vendors as applicable.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
