$32.79Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience as a Psychiatric TechnicianAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health SystemAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishPreventative Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) within 30 days of hireDemonstrated ability to apply logic and reasoning to identify when something is wrong or likely to go wrong, as well as alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to situationsAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situationsKnowledge of psychotropic medications and affectsMust possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Licenses and Certifications:Basic Life Support(Required)Psychiatric Technician(Required) Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a mental health clinical setting, with the mentally illKnowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Physical, Mental, & Environmental DemandsTo comply with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 the essential physical, mental and environmental requirements for this job are listed below.
