Position Summary:

The incumbent will coordinate the COVID-19 study of the California Refugee Reproductive Health (ReproNet) Project, which is funded by the Patient Centered Outcome Research Institute (PCORI). The study aims to assess the use of digital media and its potential for refugee women’s education and utilization of reproductive health among six refugee communities and pilot virtual group meetings (VGMs) to engage refugee women on reproductive health issues. The study’s aims are (1) To assess the use of digital media and its potential for refugee women’s education and utilization of reproductive health among six refugee communities (Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran Syria, DRC, Somalia) and (2) Pilot virtual group meetings (VGM) to engage refugee women on health issues in six refugee communities and compare feasibility and accessibility across refugee groups.

Compensation Range:

Hourly $24.11-$30.31

Required:

Master in public health Experience in conducting survey research (developing, administration, analysis) Experience working with refugee or immigrant populations Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated excellence in reliability and attendance Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment

Preferred:

Experience managing complex projects Prior work experience working with refugee or immigrant women
