Job Purpose:
Graduate Teaching Assistant/Grader for STS 4500 – STS and Engineering Practice.

The School of Engineering and Applied Science seeks applications for a Undergraduate or Graduate Teaching Assistant/Grader for STS 4500 – STS and Engineering Practice.

TA responsibilities and duties include assisting Professor Kathryn Neeley with record keeping, grading, and providing support to the students working in groups and to individual students on assignments in STS classes.

Qualifications:

  • UVA graduate or undergraduate student eligible for student employment
  • Experience in teaching or coaching at the upper high school or college level.
  • Background in teaching or tutoring writing preferred but not required. Skill with Piazza, Canvas, Collab helpful.
  • Minimum 2 years of college completed.

Hourly range: $10.50 - $15 per hour

Flexible about whether the job will mostly or entirely remote.
