Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant: Opportunity to Join our UVA Lake Monticello Primary Care Practice, Palmyra, Virginia
The University of Virginia Health System Physicians Group is currently recruiting for a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Lake Monticello Primary Care practice. Our practice is a group of (2) providers and is associated with UVA Health System. Located in Palmyra, Virginia, our practice is open Monday through Thursday from 8 am-4:30 pm and Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. Our providers enjoy a (4) day work week and we offer a highly competitive salary and benefit package.
The Physicians Group works collaboratively with the University of Virginia School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and Medical Center to provide the highest quality patient care. We serve patients at sites throughout Central Virginia, including Charlottesville, Richmond, Louisa, August, Orange, Zion Crossroads, Nelson, Culpeper, Winchester, and others—currently 25 primary and specialty care practices, all with direct access to the University of Virginia Medical Center, ranked #1 in Virginia by U.S. News & World Report.

- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Degree
- The incumbent must be a nurse practitioner or physician assistant who is licensed to practice in Virginia as a NP or PA
- Experience utilizing a personal computer and computerized scheduling.
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to noise, radiation, radioactive materials, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
