Serves as receptionist for the College of HRSM, assuring employees and guests are greeted in a courteous professional manner. The receptionist functions as the direct point of contact in receiving incoming calls for the College, and provides administrative support to the Assistant Dean of Diversity and Inclusion. Duties include, but are not limited to: coordinating and managing logistics for diversity and inclusion events, coordinating and maintaining administrative actions, and scheduling meetings. This position also provides administrative support for the College Scholarship Committee, and the College Centers that do not have administrative personnel. Additionally, the receptionist supervises student employees within the Office of the Dean. Other related duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.

Preferred QualificationsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities

Proficient in speaking and writing English. Proficient in Word, MS Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint. Ability to interact with public effectively in professional and courteous manner.
