UCLA Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences seeks applications for a temporary lecturer position in the area of Engineering and Environmental Geology for the Winter 2021 Quarters. Responsibilities will include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, writing and grading exams and problem sets for an upper division Engineering and Environmental Geology course.
Qualified candidates will have an M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering Geology or equivalent discipline and have significant experience in teaching Engineering and Environmental Geology at the college level. Candidates should upload a curriculum vitae, statement of teaching philosophy (max 1 page), and a statement on contributions to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

UCLA is a public research university located in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. In the 2007 edition of U.S. News and World Report, UCLA Medical Center was ranked best in the West, as well as one of the top 3 hospitals in the United States alongside Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
