The Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Medicine is seeking a General Psychiatrist to expand the department and accommodate clinical needs in our Chapel Hill and Raleigh locations. We anticipate hiring a full-time psychiatrists to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Duties also include teaching/supervising fellows, residents, medical students and other trainees from a variety of disciplines. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience.

Educational Requirements

Applicants must have an MD or DO, should have general psychiatry experience and be BC/BE. Applicants must be eligible for North Carolina licensure. Child experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will have strong clinical skills and experience working with a diverse population of patients.
