The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry is recruiting for a full-time tenure track or non-tenure track faculty for appointment as the Graduate Program Director of Endodontics, in the Division of Comprehensive Oral Health. The rank, salary and responsibilities will be commensurate with training, experience and academic accomplishments. The successful candidate will be expected to serve in the administrative role as the Graduate Program Director of Endodontics that will include related to resident recruitment, developing schedules, didactic programs, and all other duties associated with the three years master’s degree Endodontics Graduate Program. Additionally, the candidate will participate in teaching at the pre-doctoral; participate in research and publish in peer-reviewed journals; participate in duties consistent with school and university requirements for performance, scholarship; and participate in the Dental Faculty Practice.

Educational Requirements

The candidate must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree, and advanced training in Endodontics and be Board Certified by the American Board of Endodontics.

Qualifications and Experience

It is preferred that the candidate has significant clinical and academic experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills and a commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and collegiality are required. Leadership, administrative, supervisory, and CODA accreditation experiences are preferred.
