The Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC) has dual missions: To serve the imaging needs of the researchers of the University and to advance the rapidly developing science of biomedical imaging. The Research Scholar position will conduct research on medical imaging such as: indexing and recognition, classification and segmentation, resting-state fMRI analysis, and image registration and retrieval.Education and Experience
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience necessary to perform the work. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Background in Computer Science, Radiological Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field is preferred. The Center prefers that candidates have experience in ensemble based classification methods and machine learning techniques for medical image classification and retrieval.
