The Kenan Flagler Business School MBA portfolio consists of five MBA formats including Full-Time MBA, [email protected] (online), Weekend MBA, Evening MBA and Global OneMBA. Nearly 2,000 MBA students participate in global programs while earning their degree. The MBA Global Programs Office creates and manages programs, events, operations, and relationships (internal and external) specific to global education. Position Description

The Program Manager is responsible for providing dedicated support to the daily operations of the MBA Global Programs office. This person is tasked with understanding, participating in planning, and delivering high quality global/domestic programming to the various MBA student populations.
The Program Manager will be involved in the coordination of the Global Program offerings (Exchange, Doing Business In, Global Immersion Electives, [email protected] domestic and international Immersions, and Extensions). This person will have a key role in managing small and large scale events and will serve as an important contributor during onsite global and domestic programs. This position will also contribute to the planning and implementation of pre-departure activities/materials and researching current visa requirements.
This coordination includes critical administrative functions. Examples of these functions are organizing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases, logistical planning, tracking paperwork, creating and preparing documentation/course materials, managing content for websites and mobile event apps, researching current trends, and maintaining storage spaces and supplies.
Additionally, the Program Manager will coordinate with and support MBA students, faculty, vendors, program providers and staff through a variety of tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to, registration with GeoBlue Health Insurance, STEP, UNC Travel Registry, and faculty/speaker payments. This person will respond to student requests, direct students and colleagues to proper resources, reserve classrooms and meeting spaces, update program calendars, assist with catering orders, and other event related responsibilities.
The Program Manager is a key contributor to the Global Programs team and requires strong, effective, and diplomatic communication skills, strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with the Global Programs team to deliver programs that combine world-class content with cutting-edge instructional design.
This position reports directly to the Senior Associate Director, MBA Global Programs.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
