Job Summary

The Kentucky Geological Survey is seeking an undergraduate student with a geology major for a part-time position. This employee will be responsible for a scanning project which will require active attention to detail and organizational skills. This project’s tasks will include data entry, document scanning, comparative analysis, and error checking. The project involves the scanning and storage of laboratory documents such as chain of custody forms, analysis results and reports of various file types pertaining to geochemistry and energy and mineral specimen analysis.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office suite products and Adobe Acrobat.
