  • Position Description:

    This position provides personal Wellness coaching for UTCOMLS students on an individual and group level. The Wellness coach will develop wellness and outreach programs for students to learn self-care as a current student and future healthcare provider. Programs can address both personal and social issues by interviewing and assessing student’s needs and develop nextsteps, which can include referrals to other service providers at UTMC/outside resources.


    Required Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Experience with working in high-stress environments.
    • Experience leading both small and large group activities.
    • 3+ years experience working with a diverse student population.
    • 3+ years working in an educational setting.

    Required Education/Experience/Licensing:

    • Bachelors degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology or related field

    Required Communication and other skills:

    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Working Conditions:Works in a professional, dynamic student-oriented work environment. Requires occasional evenings and weekends.
