  • Position Description:

    Cleansand services patient, public, clinical, academic and administrative areas asdirected by management.  Executes tasksand assignments in a thorough, professional manner to assure a clean,attractive, safe environment with minimal interference to others.

    Qualifications:

    MinimumEducation/Training:

    • High school diploma or equivalent. 
    • Able to read, understand, and follow writteninstructions, and comprehend verbal instructions given in English.

    MinimumWork Experience

    • None required. 
    • Minimal related experience is desirable.

    PhysicalEffort Required

    • Able to stand for longperiods, stoop, kneel and reach. 
    • Able touse a 16 or 24 ounce wet mop for extended periods. 
    • Ability to lift, carry and maneuver objectsweighing up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.

    Working Conditions:Requires some handling of infectious and biologically unclean materials. Frequent handling of cleaning and disinfecting solutions. Possible exposure to hazardous materials or equipment. Physical Working Environment: Normally works in a well-lit, well-ventilated area.
