Job Summary Oversee Counseling Center staff and/or practicum training program, and provide direct counseling services to clients of the Counseling Center. Provide consultation and outreach to students and campus groups. Provide after-hours on-call emergency consultation. Responsible and held accountable for the gathering, interpreting and analyzing of data for the purpose of continuous improvement. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Counseling Center staff and management, Psychiatry Clinic psychiatrists, Student Life staff and management, community mental health providers, Counseling Center clients, and Psychiatry Clinic patients, faculty, staff, parents and families. This position typically will advise and counsel: Counseling Center clients, and Psychiatry Clinic patients. This position will supervise: Assigned staff and/or trainees.Responsibilities <html><b><u>Job Duty 1 - </u></b>
Coordinate Counseling Center programs and/or initiatives, or professional development for professional counseling staff and campus outreach programs.

<html><b><u>Job Duty 2 - </u></b>
Supervise Counseling Center staff and/or graduate-level practicum students, pre-doctoral and/or other trainees.

<html><b><u>Job Duty 3 - </u></b>
Provide initial screenings/intakes/assessment; provide individual, group and couples counseling.

<html><b><u>Job Duty 4 - </u></b>
Provide crisis intervention and after-hours emergency on-call coverage.

<html><b><u>Job Duty 5 - </u></b>
Provide outreach and consultation to campus community.

<html><b><u>Job Duty 6 - </u></b>
Direct the administration and data analysis of assessment surveys related to training or outreach and professional development programs.

<html><b><u>Job Duty 7 - </u></b>
Perform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Masters degree in Counseling, Social work, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related field

Other Required Qualifications
Currently licensed in professional discipline and be able to obtain state of Georgia license within one year. Experience in college counseling setting with progressive responsibilities.

Required Experience
Three to five years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
GA licensed psychologist

Preferred Educational Qualifications
PhD in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Knowledge and experience with computer-based productivity systems (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Knowledge of professional, national, and state ethical guidelines. Knowledge and experience with mental health issues in higher educations. Experience working with diverse students and concerns Successful collaboration with others.
