Summary: The Department of Mathematics is accepting applications for positions at the Assistant Professor (tenure-track), Associate Professor (with tenure) and full Professor (with tenure) levels. These positions will begin August 17, 2020. Candidates must have a strong commitment to excellence in instruction.Principal Duties:
Faculty contribute to the research, teaching and service missions of the Department of Mathematics in the College of Letters & Science. Faculty engage in robust research and develop and maintain extramural funding for research. Teaching responsibility will be three courses in Mathematics per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students required. Successful candidate will be expected to participate in professional, public and university service as appropriate.
