Job Description UMKC’s Human Resources office is seeking a self-motivated individual to become a member of our team by supporting our HR Business Partners across campus. The successful candidate must be organized, dependable and detail oriented to work in this “behind-the-scenes” environment. Duties include but are not limited to:

    Responsible for high levels of data entry involving employee informationProcess personnel actions under the direction of the HR Business Partner
      Hire, Onboarding, Status Changes, Job Changes, Additional Pay, etc.
    Monitor and track leave of absences for benefit-eligible employeesMaintain the organization of imaged files through ImageNowCrosstrain with other HR Transaction AssistantsKeeping ongoing knowledge of university policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with PeopleSoft, ImageNow, and Microsoft Office.

Experience with high-volume data-entry, time reporting processing, or detail-oriented projects.

Salary $13.27 - $14.25 per hour
