General Description:
The Front Desk Clerk/Receptionist is responsible for receiving all incoming telephone calls and directing to appropriate extension as well as assisting all whom walk through the door at the Fort Bend Technical Center extension campus. This position is responsible for the receiving and distributing campus mail. This position also provides assistance to Financial Aid and Academic Counseling.

This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. This position requires two (2) years of current related work experience. This position requires superior organizational and clerical skills, with current word processing software knowledge as well as other computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to service. The person in this position must be able to provide continuous courteous customer service to student, staff, and administration. A criminal background check is required.
