This position is a support position for Dean Tevita Ka’ili. You will work with our other administrative assistant in this faculty unit on various projects and assigned tasks as needed. You are required to apply limited analysis and problem solving in performing the job duties. Duties include scheduling semester classes for all of CL&PA faculty and special instructors. You will need to keep a detailed schedule of courses listed. You are also responsible for issuing special instructor contracts for our area, as well as keeping an organized schedule of ordering textbooks and inputting textbook information into the system. Other tasks involve ticketing for plays in Music area, limited to a few days a week during peak season of plays; you will be required to work evening and weekend (Saturday) work hours during these events; these are on a minimal scale throughout the year. You are also responsible for general office maintenance in your immediate area and for reporting all classroom maintenance requests in the CL&PA area. This position is 19 hours/week.
