College/Department Overview:

ACM@UCO seeks an applicant for the position of Classroom Monitor. This position will assist and support faculty, staff, and students and their use of technology for in-person and virtual classroom management for extended and alternative instructional delivery courses in the Academy of Contemporary Music.

Position Overview:

Assist in supporting the classrooms, labs, or departments. Duties may include, faculty technical support for the new extended classroom model, especially the video conferencing software platforms and associated equipment. May assist with setting up, picking up, and checking-in classroom items for classes. May be requested to set-up audio/visual equipment, PowerPoint presentations, and/or computers for staff, faculty or students. Position is temporary.

Department Specific Essential Job Functions:

Duties will include communicating with the remote instructor on a regular basis, preparing the classroom technology prior to the beginning of class, monitoring technology during class, trouble-shooting any technical difficulties that might occur, and shutting down the technology after class is finished. Responsibilities also include other duties as assigned.

Repetitive movement of hands and fingers - typing and/or writing. Frequent standing, and/or sitting. Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Reach with hands and arms. Visually identify, observe and assess. Ability to communicate with supervisor/students/colleagues. Regular physical attendance required.
