Learning Systems Integration Developer Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 202008165661 Full Time 8AM - 5PM Commensurate with Experience Position Information The Student Information Systems division of UC Riverside's Information Technology Solutions (ITS) is searching for a Learning Systems Integration Developer. The successful candidate in this role will have the opportunity to be involved in the implementation of Canvas for the main UCR campus by developing the integration between Canvas and Ellucian's Banner Student Information System. If you have a desire to be a part of of improving UCR’s student experience by partnering with students, faculty, and staff to deliver modern learning management system solution then this position is for you! The salary range for this position is $77,300 to $152,200, however it is currently budgeted at a maximum annual salary of $114,800 (midpoint of the range).Please note this is a three year contract position. Most ITS staff are currently working 100% remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and this position will start out working 100% remotely. Experience Experience Requirement Experience working in higher education. Preferred Experience with Canvas or other student learning management systems. Preferred 6 - 10 years of related experience. Required Experience using Ellucian Ethos framework. Preferred Experience with enterprise student information systems. Preferred

Minimum Requirements Demonstrated software repository skills.
Demonstrated complex problem- solving skills.
Highly advanced skills associated with software specification, design, modification, implementation and deployment of large-scale scope.
Advanced knowledge of secure software development.
Excellent project leadership and management skills.
Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
Advanced experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms.
Demonstrated ability to understand functional needs and how systems can support those needs. Demonstrated ability to develop conversion and system implementation plans.
Experience developing and executing complex test plans.
Advanced experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums.
Preferred Qualifications Current working knowledge of the Ellucian Ethos framework.

Working knowledge of GitHub.

Current working knowledge of Ellucian's Banner Student Information System and its database structure.
