Position Description:
The Associate Director of Academic Advising & College Guidance (ADAACG) serves as a resource for all students and families as they create the most appropriate curriculum for post-secondary goals. The ADAACG provides academic advising for students, serves as an advisor to each family as the student works with faculty to design and accomplish the most appropriate course of study, advises students and families regarding any college or career related implications of course selections or alterations, and serves as a liaison between educators and students as individual curriculum decisions are made. The ADAACG also works with students to learn about and navigate the college application process. The ADAACG meets with individual students, students' individual families, and groups of students to provide information about terminology, timeline, and requirements for applying to colleges.
