Occ Summary Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients i n accordancewith the medical and nursing plans of care and established p olicies andprocedures. Provide nursing services to patients andfamilies inaccordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the NorthCarolinaBoa rd of Nursing. Work Performed Plan, provide and document professional nu rsing care, utilizing thenursing process,in accordance with physician or ders and establishedpolicies and procedures under the supervision of the team leader orcharge nurse.Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed andunlicensed care providers.Assist other healthcare p ersonnel in the delivery of patient care.Participate in maintaining the environment of care including equipmentand material resources. Prioritiz e work organization and identifyresourcesavailable to assist in completi ng components of care in atimely manner.Participate in own professional development by maintaining requiredcompetencies, identifying learning ne eds and seeking appropriateassistance oreducational offerings.Support th e development of other staff and formallearners.Participate in the ident ification of clinical or operational performanceimprovement opportunitie s and assist in performance improvementactivities.Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Minimum Qualifications


Education

Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date.

Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required.
