Job Description:

The Office of the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies in the School of Sciences and Engineering at the American University in Cairo invites applications for adjunct faculty positions at the rank of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Experienced candidates will teach undergraduate/graduate courses in:

Introduction to Engineering
Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Drawing
Engineering Mechanics I (Statics)
Engineering Mechanics II (Dynamics)
Strength and Testing of Materials
Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics
Engineering Analysis and Computation
General Electrical Engineering
Engineering Economy
Fundamentals of Thermofluids
Entrepreneurial Development and Innovation


Minimum academic achievement of PhD in said or related discipline; Minimum 5 years work experience in said or related field; Teaching experience preferred in said or related discipline; English proficiency is a must.

Candidates will teach but not restricted to these courses.
