This position will also be assisting the Chief Audit Officer (CAO) in fulfilling the mission of the Office of Inspector General Services.

Responsible for implementing portions of the OIGS annual workplan assigned to the position; leading, supervising, and/or conducting (when necessary) audits assigned; and ensuring compliance with Institute of Internal Auditors Standards.

Responsible for conducting follow-up, reviewing follow-up for assigned auditors, and preparing the follow-up report for dissemination; providing research and assistance to University entities upon their request. Responsible for supervising and assisting in investigations, when requested.

Carries out special projects and duties as deemed appropriate by the Chief Audit Officer. Such duties include assisting in the OIGS annual risk assessment and annual report, participating in Peer Reviews (preparation and assistance to reviewers), etc.Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in a related area and six years of related professional experience.

(Note: higher education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)

Experience conducting audits, investigations, or similar types of reviews.

Experience working with confidential or sensitive information.

Experience supervising employees.

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and work in a demanding fast-paced environment.

Working knowledge of appropriate professional standards, including the Institute of Internal Auditors International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.Preferred Higher education experienceOther Information A cover letter and a resume should be attached to the application.
