Job Responsibilities

The Department of Natural Sciences is seeking to fill positions. If you have a passion of for sharing your knowledge with others, consider joining TTC.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to teaching day and/or evening classes, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a master's degree in astronomy OR a master's degree in physics with experience teaching astronomy.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with telescopes and astronomical observation is essential. Teaching experience at the college level is preferred. Must be capable of lifting/assembling heavy telescopes and performing night sky observations. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
