Job Description Summary

Job Description

This is a position for Research Specialist, Level B, with a purpose to investigate the pathogenesis of neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders using mouse as a model organism. The primary function of this position includes functional characterization of genetically modified mice using electrophysiological, molecular, cellular and behavioral approaches, such as cryo-sections, immunohistochemistry, EEG recording and confocal microscopy. Other duties include assistance with PI in preparation of animal protocols, research publications, and grant applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
