Physical Requirements

This position will require sitting/standing for long periods of time, communicating with patients and fellow staff on a regular basis, and navigating the hospital.


ON CALL – must be able to work a minimum of 36 hours per month on a variety of shifts (days evenings or nights) some weekends and holidays are required Must be able to visualize and hear patient at all times and intervene and notify nurse if patient is in danger.

Job Summary

The patient safety technician will provide continuous observation of assigned patient and ensures a safe environment for patient and staff.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Working knowledge of a hospital setting , excellent communication skills, ability problem solve, basic computer skills, calm demeanor.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience

Prior experience in a patient care setting is preferred
