Hodges University is currently seeking a Assistant Director of IT for Applications to support the Information Technology department. The Assistant Director of IT for Applications leads a team of technology professionals focused on deploying, integrating, reporting and customizing, and supporting all enterprise level applications that support the administrative and academic operations of the University. The Assistant Director of IT for Applications’ area of responsibility include; direct supervision of the Applications team, including setting priority and goal setting, performance management, as well as the daily management and continuous improvement of all enterprise level services including but not limited to web applications, data storage, reporting, CRM, and the student information system.


Knowledge and Skills / Experience Knowledge and experience working with Ellucian Colleague application suite, Salesforce, Informer, MS Sharepoint, Docuware, Touchnet.


Experience working with financial applications related to ACH, payment gateways, and credit card processing.


Familiar with basic change management practices and processes.


Experience developing and clear understanding of UNIDATA, MS SQL, and Apache/PHP Environments.


Excellent communication skills (both written and oral). Basic understanding of web application security protocols.


Experience integrating web/cloud applications, migrating to and supporting applications in SaaS environments.


Ability to perform project management.


Management and higher education experience is preferred. Evidence of effective team leading.


Ability to travel campus to campus.


Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
