The Interdisciplinary Studies Website and Media Designer will be responsible for developing content and maintaining our website; managing IDS social media platforms (likely Facebook and Instagram); promoting IDS events, including virtual events; and working with college and university communication professionals on strategic communications projects that further the unit’s goals and objectives, including recruiting new students and communicating with current students.

Other Work/ResponsibilitiesMinimum Experience/Education

Bachelor’s degree, experience working in academic office on website and print media.

Departmental Required Skills

Strong skills as a writer. Experience with website design on existing platforms. Experience writing website and print media.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

Master’s degree in an interdisciplinary field. Expertise in photography a plus. Experience on NC State current web platform preferred.
