Educational and Experience Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology or in a related field. One year of related experience in athletics or in a related field. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.

Nature & Purpose of Position
Performs semi-complex administrative and supervisory program work for the baseball program.

Primary Responsibilities
Oversees the work of assigned program staff. Prepares and reviews reports on the effectiveness of program activities. Confers with staff on program issues and problems. Plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates all aspects of the baseball team’s travel to include scheduling of hotels, busses, equipment trucks, and meals. Ensures travel arrangements, while conforming to University and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) guidelines. Travels with the baseball team to all functions to ensure student athletes are provided with adequate housing and meals. Reviews all bills related to baseball functions and submits them to the Athletic Finance office for payment. Oversees the process of fundraising, promotions, and events for the baseball program. Recommends program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Other Specifications
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws. Ability to supervise business functions. Communicates with other university departments, personnel, and other agencies. Incumbent is expected to develop an appropriate rapport with the athletic teams, community, university students, staff, and faculty. Must be knowledgeable of all NCAA and conference rules. Must adhere to NCAA and conference bylaws. Must be supportive of institutional compliance and academic programs. Must report all NCAA and conference violations to proper personnel. This is a non-coaching position.
