The Program Officer will work to implement, conduct, research, and assess grant programs in the global rule of law subject area. S/He will work to instill and support a culture of continuous improvement by executing the development and delivery of rule of law learning programs and activities. S/He will oversee research assistants working on ROLC grants and cooperative agreements.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Master’s degree in related field and 3 years related program experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience.Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred (JD, MA, PhD), JD strongly preferred. Advanced foreign language skills preferred. Experience in global rule of law programs preferred. Prior international work travel experience preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Experience with government and NGO efforts in Rule of Law, experience in grant application and administration. Demonstrated research experience. Ability to make presentations and prepare reports.
