Social Work FIeld Director - BSW/MSW Programs

Full time, Twelve-month, Tenure-track faculty position. Responsible for the planning, direction, and coordination of field
education for the MSW and BSW programs.
Provides administrative support and consultation to department faculty, students, and field agencies regarding
practicum related issues. Responsibilities include:
o Develop, oversee and update field agency contracts
o Maintain oversight of Student records
o Conduct required field training for field instructors and Liaisons
o Evaluate Field Sites
o Teach Field Seminar including conducting Role- plays
and Case assessments
o Attend CSWE field trainings, prepare required reports
o Provide weekly review of Student Logs and assignments
documenting a spread- sheet of the review
o Evaluate BSW student progress in the Field
o Develop a strong community presence
o Attend all Faculty meetings and perform
other duties as assigned

MSW degree from an accredited CSWE program with a minimum of two years post MSW practice experience and one year
teaching experience at the college/university level in field social work required. Background and/or credit check may be required.

LCSW/LMSW and PH.D preferred.
Familiarity with CSWE accreditation.
