Position Description:
Under the direction of the Assistant Dean and Faculty Director of the Applied Management Programs, the Executive Director, External Partnerships for the Applied Management Programs is responsible for meeting the annual, company recruiting targets. The Applied Management Programs are the Strategic Management Program (SMR) for Executive MBAs (EMBA), Global Access Program (GAP) for the Fully Employed MBAs (FEMBA), Applied Management Research Porgram (AMR) for the Full Time MBA students (FT) and the NUS Practicum Program.for the Global Executive MBA Program.

The Executive Director will conduct extensive outreach with international and domestic corporate executives, foreign government officials, chambers of commerce, federal and local government officials, for both non-profit and for profit companies and organizations to secure qualified companies for UCLA Anderson's Applied Management Programs. They will make formal presentations at conferences and events about the Programs. Additionally, the Executive Director will manage the CRM function and corresponding database system. They will manage the sales funnel process, which includes converting prospective companies to accepted companies; calculating and managing conversion ratios; following up on referrals to generate additional or future companies; and providing clear leadership and direction to the field study staff for the creation of marketing plans to generate prospects, leads, and signed up companies. Responsible for business development and managing key accounts and partnerships.

The Executive Director, External Partnerships has personal sales responsibilities, and directly communicates with prospective companies to convert them to closed sales. Work closely and effectively with partner organizations and with senior UCLA Anderson management.

The Executive Director will maintain and develop relationships with local industry and function experts that will serve as judges for the Programs final presentations.

The Executive Director will also develop and revise the marketing materials for all Applied Management Programs. This includes website maintenance, brochures and promotional videos.
