The Freedom Center is a University Center under Research, Innovation and Impact. The mission of the Freedom Center is to promote the understanding and appreciation of the ideals of freedom and responsibility along four dimensions: published research, undergraduate education, general education, and community outreach. The Freedom Center is in search of an Assistant/Associate/Full Research Professor in a Career-Track capacity.

This position will contribute to the Freedom Center's research at the intersections of political economy, law and business. The position will develop relationships with other units at the university on behalf of the Freedom Center and work closely with the advisory board.

Duties & Responsibilities

An ideal candidate will contribute to the research of the Center for the Philosophy of Freedom at the intersections of political economy, law and business.  They will have experience in developing and maintaining partnerships with various colleagues at the university.  They will have experience as an Associate Director at a University Center.

  • Contribute to research at the Freedom Center.
  • Develop formal relationships with constituents of the Freedom Center.
  • Serve as Associate Director with aspirations on becoming the next center director or recruiting the next director.
  • Teach one course per year on ethical entrepreneurship.
  • Work closely with Advisory Board.
