Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include providing classroom teaching at varying schedules at a variety of locations.

This pool is specifically for Computer Art and Animation (2- and 3- dimensional animation). The qualified applicant may be called to teach either 2-dimensional OR 3-dimensional animation using Adobe Animate CC, Aftereffects, Toonboom, or Autodesk Maya, and/or "hybrid" traditional/studio art media combined with computer-based media. Applicants will have knowledge of art and animation production (both digital and traditional) and history of animation and digital media. A traditional artistic background and experience in storyboard production, conceptual art for animation and film is also desirable.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

To qualify for these positions candidates must have at least an associate degree in a visual arts discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a related area is preferred. Ability to work on both PC and Macintosh platforms is critical. Recent relevant industry experience or previous college level teaching experience is also preferred.
