This is a part-time (19 hours per week) position providing administrative support for university human resources functions.Responsibilities
- Provides support for employee benefits functions. (30%)Advises employees and retirees on insurance programs and benefits.Assists in the preparation and dissemination of annual open enrollment benefits information to employees and retirees.Assists in the coordination of the annual open enrollment benefits fair.Assists active and retired employees with problems related to insurance benefits.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated related experience required.

- Knowledge of human resources principles and practices.Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.Knowledge of university and departmental policies and procedures.Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.Skill in prioritizing and organizing work.Skill in the management of files and records.Skill in the management of confidential information.Skill in the use of such office equipment as a computer, scanner, fax machine, and copier.Skill in oral and written communication.
