The Department of Anesthesia, at Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center, is seeking an innovative faculty leader for our Cardiothoracic Anesthesia service, to lead and develop our program and clinical missions. Boston University School of Medicine clinical presence is based at Boston Medical Center, a 500-bed teaching hospital that serves a diverse patient population in the city of Boston and its surrounding communities, and is the primary teaching hospital for the Boston University School of Medicine.

Required Skills

The candidate must be MD and BE/BC in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology (ACTA).

Demonstrated excellence in patient care. Demonstrated enthusiasm for continuing medical education and strong teaching skills. Must have or be able to attain a license in the state of Massachusetts. Must be able to pass credentialing at all applicable sites.

The academic appointment at Boston University School of Medicine will be based on experience and determined by the applicant's credentials. Salary and benefits will be competitive with other institutions.
