Assistant Professor of Economics
The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time tenure track position in economics at the Assistant Professor level.

The primary responsibilities of the position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, mentoring undergraduate students contributing to the assessment of student learning outcomes, engaging in other service activities with the department, college, campus, community, and profession, and publishing in quality refereed peer-reviewed journals. The teaching load is typically three courses per semester and may include face-to-face, hybrid and/or online deliveries.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited institution in Economics or a closely related discipline; and a record of publication in quality refereed journals.

Accredited by AACSB International, the Wall College of Business serves more than 2,000 graduate and undergraduate students and has faculty members represented by six academic disciplines: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Hospitality and Resort Tourism. The Finance and Economics Department serves over 300 majors across three concentrations in finance: banking and consumer finance; financial management; and wealth management, and a major in economics. The department also supports a minor in commercial and investment real estate. The College also offers MBA and MAcc graduate programs Regional outreach is accomplished through activities of the Grant Center for Real Estate and Economics, the Clay Brittain Jr. Center for Resort Tourism, the Community and Business Engagement Institute, and others.
