A postdoctoral research associate position with competitive salary and benefits is available in Dr. Limei Zhang’s group for highly motivated candidates who are interested in structural biology, redox biology and/or infectious disease. The Zhang group applies a suite of interdisciplinary tools to investigate the structure-mechanism relationships of proteins in redox reaction, stress response and antibiotic resistance, with the support of two major federal grants. A recent Ph.D. degree (or expected soon) in biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology or a related field and a strong record in conducting high-quality research.Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in either biophysics, protein biochemistry or advanced molecular biology; excellent communication skills; ability to work cooperatively on multidisciplinary projects; and experience in mentoring.Criminal History Background Check Required:
