Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: Reporting to the Executive Director of EEO and Title IX Programs, the Director of EEO Programs serves as the University’s designated official for Affirmative Action, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to individuals with disabilities, and other civil rights compliance. Areas of responsibility include compliance, harassment and EEO discrimination complaint investigation, office supervision, and service on campus committees.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience with EEO, ADA, or Affirmative Action programs; OR Master’s degree and eight (8) years of experience with EEO, ADA, or Affirmative Action programs.

Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of current equal opportunity laws, regulations and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications: Juris Doctorate four (4) years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and seven (7) years of relevant experience. Experience overseeing investigations involving reports of harassment and/or discrimination preferred. Higher education experience preferred.
