  • Position Description:

    Underdirection of the Clinical Research Manager of the Department of Medicine, theCRC is responsible for managing the conduct of all delegated clinical trialprocedures and activities.  Performs all clinical research nursing dutiesrelated to clinical trial research protocols.

    Qualifications:

    • Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license required.  BSN preferred.
    • Clinical experience required; research experience preferred.
    • Current, active CPR certification at time of hire required and maintained.
    • HIPAA certification must be completed within 90 days of hire.
    • CITI training through IRB obtained within 90 days of hire.
    • Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and training.
    • Knowledge and experience with IRB applications strongly preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Visual acuity of 20/20 or corrected to 20/20 including color vision when applicable.
    • Ability to hear (with or without aides.
    • Ability to orally communicate
    • Good manual dexterity;.
    • Ability to push, pull, roll and transfer/lift 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Ability to stand, walk frequently.
    • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel occasionally.
    • Ability to perform CPR (if required for a position).

    Working Conditions:This position requires a flexible work schedule. The environmental conditions of this position will be comprised of both an office setting and a clinical setting, with inpatient and outpatient potential. Some travel may be required. The clinic setting will have the potential for exposure to infectious materials, such as human blood or tissues.
