TheEspinosa lab is looking for motivated post-doctoral fellows interested inperforming research in the field of cancer biology. This position reportsdirectly to Dr. Joaquin Espinosa in the Department of Pharmacology
Areas of Responsibility / Scope of Research
The Espinosa lab investigates important signaling pathways involved incancer development, including but not restricted to p53, hypoxia-induciblefactors and transcriptional cyclin dependent kinases. Candidates should have aPhD and expertise in one or more of the following areas: molecular biology,cell biology, computational biology, genomics, pharmacology, and mousegenetics.

- Graduation from an accredited college oruniversity with a PhD in one of these fields of study or related: molecularbiology, cell biology, computational biology, genomics, pharmacology, andgenetics
- Expertisein one or more of the following areas: molecular biology, cell biology,computational biology, genomics, pharmacology, mouse genetics
- Provenability to work independently within a research lab
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer software,equipment operation, and research technical skills
- Proven experience and familiarity with molecularand cell biology approaches
- Skills in computational biology
