Evenings Operations Manager serves as the assistant to the Operations Manager of the CAS Computing Center; directly responsible for the operation of over 100 computers in four primary student computer lab classrooms in the Computing Center and satellite locations during second shift (evening hours). Position is responsible for ensuring smooth operations in the lab facilities so that users can reliably access computer equipment, with assistance as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Systems; or equivalency

Preferred Qualifications

PC and Macintosh computer support to include troubleshooting and repair. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and 1 year experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment.; or high school diploma and 5 years experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Support experience with multiple operating systems (Mac and PC) and familiarity with popular application suites to include MS Office, Adobe, Macromedia. Must understand and be able to investigate a wide range of peripheral devices.
