Mail and Service Center Coordinator

Job description

Applications are being accepted for a full-time Mail and Service Center Coordinator. This position is responsible for processing and distributing all internal and external college mail. This position receives, sorts, and delivers all college mail from postal services and internal sources; processes all outgoing mail using a metering machine and shipping software; and provides customer service at the front counter.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.  Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds required. One year of related experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

Organizational, communications, supervisory, and computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat; Adobe Indesign skills desired. Ability to communicate effectively, interact professionally, and maintain confidentiality in a variety of situations (in person and on the telephone).

Customer service orientation. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of general postal regulations as well as U.P.S. and FedEx practices. Knowledge of postal and shipping systems and equipment. 

Experience in print, specifically on a production digital printer, desired.
