The Office of Undergraduate Admission is seeking applicants for part-time, temporary Reader positions. This part-time, temporary position focuses on the holistic review of first year and transfer applications for undergraduate admission. The part-time Reader assists the permanent Admissions staff in analyzing the qualifications of prospective students using established University Admissions guidelines in submitting evaluations and recommendations through an electronic file management system.

Bachelor's degree is required.
Candidates must have computer equipment and have access to high speed internet.
Strong verbal and written skills required.
Excellent time management abilities are mandatory.

Experience in higher education or secondary education is preferred.

The position's compensation is $19.00 per hour with an average of 30 hours per week required. Readers are expected to communicate regularly/ and weekly with designated Admissions staff via Zoom. Additionally, Readers are expected to respond to communication requests in a timely manner. Readers are required to attend bi-weekly meetings via Zoom.

The duration of the assignment is subject to change depending on application volume. Mandatory online paid 2 week training sessions will be scheduled in late September/early October 2020.
