The University of Virginia Health System Physicians Group is currently recruiting a full time Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of four head and neck surgeons in the Division of Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Surgery within the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. The Division is one the leading programs in the country, managing patients with malignant and benign head and neck tumors in collaboration with radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and other allied health professionals within the NCI-designated Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center.
The successful APP will work collaboratively in the outpatient care setting to assess and manage patients in the initial evaluation, pre-operative, post-operative, and surveillance/survivorship phases of care. Active mentorship will be provided with a goal of achieving autonomous function that will contribute to high-quality care and achieve optimal outcomes for patients with head and neck tumors.

- Oncology APP experience preferred
- Current Virginia License or LE, or able to obtain by the time of hire
- Current BLS, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
