The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certified/eligible in Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include pulmonary and critical care fellows, residents and medical students. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.

Clinical responsibilities may include delivery of medical critical care services across our integrated health system. Selected candidates will have experience working with advanced practice providers and/or trainees. This may include consultation and evaluation and management of critically ill patients as an attending on the inpatient medical critical care services within the health system.

There will be an expectation of the ability of the candidate to manage and lead clinical operations in a new Medical Oncology unit. Applicants in mid-career are encouraged to apply.
